Wakefield Manor offers 96 one- and two-bedroom apartments homes in a smoke-free building for seniors ages 55 years and older in Wakefield Plantation of North Raleigh. This convenient location provides residents with easy access to shopping, restaurants, healthcare, public transportation, banks, and entertainment.
Supportive services through Resources for Seniors of Wake County are available for individuals with special needs, in addition to regularly programmed activities for all residents.
Meadowcreek Commons
Meadowcreek Commons offers 48 high-quality, yet affordable apartments for seniors 55 years of age and greater. These apartments have been designed, built, and registered for LEED for Homes Silver certification by the US Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED for Homes program.
LEED for Homes is a national, voluntary certification system, developed by experts and experienced builders, that promotes the design and construction of high-performance green homes. The LEED for Homes program also encourages the adoption of sustainable practices by the homebuilding industry.
LEED for Homes is part of the suite of nationally recognized LEED Green Building Rating Systems administered by the USGBC. Third party verification of Highland Terrace’s LEED certification credits is accomplished through a partnership with Southern Energy Management of Morrisville, NC.

The Commons at Highland Village
Convenience and a carefree lifestyle await you at The Commons at Highland Village, 68- units of one- and two-bedroom apartments with some handicapped accessible units available. Each apartment is fully carpeted and features a range and self-cleaning oven, refrigerator with icemaker, and dishwasher. Also included are mini-blinds on all windows, fire sprinkler system, secure entrance with card access and intercoms to apartments.

Capital Towers
Capital Towers Apartments is a two-building 297-unit senior apartment community for those ages 55+.
All of the apartments at Capital Towers will be affordable to seniors earning 60% or less of the area median income. At least 60% of the units in Capital Towers 1 will be targeted to seniors earning 50% of the area median income.
