DHIC Receives Grant in Support of Beacon Ridge Apartments

We are excited to announce that DHIC has been awarded a 2019 Wells Fargo Priority Markets grant of $250,000 to advance the development of  Beacon Ridge,  a multi-family affordable housing community located on the Beacon Campus in Southeast Raleigh. This housing community is a part of a Purpose Built Community, in partnership with the Southeast Raleigh Promise, the YMCA of the Triangle and Wake County Public Schools. Beacon Ridge will offer 120 apartment homes for families and individuals with modest incomes across three buildings.

Included in the buildings will be offices for property management, an exercise room, laundry facilities, a community gathering area with a kitchen and rooms for activities and programs, and a business resource center with computer access.  There will be a playground on-site and residents will have walking access to the new Southeast Raleigh YMCA and Southeast Raleigh Elementary.
