Durham commissioners renew pledge on affordable housing downtown Advocates vow to fight for homeless

DURHAM – Durham County Commissioners are expected to meet with consultants this week to discuss plans to bring affordable housing and retail shops to downtown. Subsequently, the commissioners are expected to release a request for proposals to solicit a developer for the work.
