A: DHIC will evaluate the qualifications and tenure of your current staff. We will also evaluate your staffing plan, which should include details on your recruitment and hiring process such as:  (1) what type of staff you are hiring, (2) what each person’s qualifications will be, and (3) how you intend to identify and hire new staff members.

Q:Do you have a preference regarding faith-based centers?

A: No, DHIC does not have a preference regarding faith-based centers.

Q: Is it an advantage from an application evaluation perspective for the operator to have experience building out a space (e.g. licensing, design, sanitation etc.)?

A: Yes, DHIC will positively weigh an operator’s experience building out a space and starting a new center when evaluating its application.
