Ms. Harper joined DHIC in 1995 as an Administrative Assistant, becoming a Homeonwership Counselor after the first year.  She now has  over nineteen years of experience in providing affordable homes to first-time homebuyers.  Saundra has been instrumental in the success of DHIC’s Homeownership Center.

In addition to teaching the credit portion of DHIC’s monthly homebuyer education workshops, Ms. Harper assists potential homebuyers with budget, credit  counseling, pre-qualification, and any other steps of the home buying process. Over the years, Saundra has worked with hundreds of elated participants to achieve the American Dream of Homeownership.

Saundra serves as DHIC’s Broker-In Charge and is a Certified Residential Specialist. She is also certified through the North Carolina Association of Housing Counselors and NeighborWorks^® America.  Saundra has also represented clients as a buyer’s agent which included selling DHIC and the City of Raleigh properties.
