The United States Census is completed every ten years to count the number of citizens living in our country.

The 2020 Census is more than just a headcount—the results from the census help determine how more than $675 billion in federal funding is distributed to states and local communities. These funds are spent on schools, hospitals, roads, public works and other vital programs. It also helps determine the number of seats each state gets in Congress and how state and local officials draw boundaries for congressional districts, state legislative districts and school districts.

Help us ensure that residents of Wake County are counted by visiting this website and completing the census for those living in your household. This must be completed by October 31, 2020.
