Michael joined DHIC in September, 2016. As part of the Rental Development team, he is involved in the full spectrum of development-related tasks, from project inception to stabilization. Prior to joining DHIC, Mr. Rodgers spent more than five years at a non-profit tax credit syndicator where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing  tax credit developments across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. He also worked for several years in the legislative offices of the Virginia General Assembly. Mr. Rodgers is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and has a Masters of City and Regional Planning from UNC-Chapel Hill. Michael previously served on the Town of Carrboro Planning Commission.
