We are excited to announce that Booker Park North at Washington Terrace was completed in 2019.

Booker Park North, a DHIC affordable housing community for individuals 62 and older, is the second phase of the Washington Terrace redevelopment plan.  This community was funded in part by Enterprise Community Investment, NC Housing Finance Agency, State Employees Credit Union Foundation, the City of Raleigh and Wake County, and professionally managed by Community Management Corporation (CMC).

The independent living community will includes a total of 72 apartment homes, 58 one-bedroom and 14 two- bedroom apartments, for households with incomes at or below 60% of the area median income (AMI).  In Wake County, 60% AMI for a family of one is $35,460 and a family of two is $40,500.  Rents for the one-bedroom apartments will range from $420-$705 and rents for the two-bedroom apartments will range from $500-$840.  Features include washer and dryer hook-ups in each apartment, tenant storage areas, and a covered drive through entrance.  Accessible units are also available.  The property includes a common laundry facility, computer center for residents, community gathering room with kitchen, fitness room, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, and on-site resident services coordination and management offices.
