Affordable housing efforts get a boost from $205 million in tax breaks and low-interest loans

Efforts to expand North Carolina’s inventory of affordable housing for families and seniors got a big boost this week after the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency’s federal tax reform allocation committee released its list of 59 projects statewide that have been approved for more than $205 million in tax breaks and low-interest loans and bonds.
