Ms. Lorden joined DHIC in 2002 and has over 20 years of real estate finance experience. She is responsible for all fiscal aspects of the company including cash flow forecasting, reporting to numerous tax credit investors, lenders and partners, accounting for the various projects under development, and overseeing the audited financials of the forty-plus entities currently in operation. In addition, she manages the human resources and technology of DHIC and oversees the asset management function.
A native of Ohio, Sharon has lived in West Raleigh with her husband since 1992. Her undergraduate work included a Bachelor of Science in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance. Sharon is a licensed North Carolina CPA, a North Carolina Real Estate Broker, and is a member of both the state and national CPA associations.
Ms. Lorden received the Triangle Business Journal CFO of the Year Award for small non-profits in 2009.
