Seniors have new place to call home

CARY – There already is a six-year wait to get into Willow Creek.

Willow Creek is DHIC’s latest affordable housing apartment complex for senior residents.

Located near the Morrisville Market shopping center off Davis Drive, it features 53 apartments for seniors earning 60 percent or less of the Area Median Income, which is $32,000 for a single person. There are 37 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom units with walk-in closets, ceiling fans, and roll-in showers for some. Residents can also enjoy a fitness room, laundry rooms, and a business center with free Internet access. Rents range from $365 to $795.
