Citrix hosted panel on affordable housing in Raleigh
October 31, 2016
The state of affordable housing in Raleigh and Wake County is dire. School buses now stop at slummy hotels to pick up kids in families that can’t afford a stable place to live and are forced to take residence there. Nearly 60,000 families in Wake pay more than fifty percent of the Area Median Income for housing and utilities, an economic indicator that they are severely overburdened by housing costs.
