Dear Friends-

It is with very heavy hearts and incredible sadness that we share the news of the passing of DHIC’s Vice President of Asset Management, Rodney Brown. Rodney was a beloved friend and colleague who was fiercely dedicated to achieving the mission of DHIC.

Rodney had over 25 years of experience in the affordable housing space which included tenures with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.  He joined DHIC as the Director of Asset Management in 2016 and was later promoted to Vice President of the business line.

Rodney held extremely high standards for himself and challenged us all to do our very best in service to DHIC’s clients and residents. The impact of Rodney’s work has left a lasting mark here at DHIC and his spirit lives on in the people and communities he touched.

As a way to honor Rodney, DHIC has donated to the Hope Center at Pullen in his memory, where he was formerly on the center’s board.
