DHIC built its first apartment community in 1984. Now we own more than two dozen across Wake County and other areas of North Carolina. Beautiful design and exceptional quality are hallmarks of DHIC neighborhood communities. That’s why our properties have received numerous appearance and innovation awards.

If you’re interested in living in any of these apartment communities, please contact the property directly. The property manager will be able to answer your questions regarding availability, income requirements, and the application process.

RENTAL COMMUNITIES

  • Family Housing is for singles or families of just about any size. We have 22 family apartments in seven counties.
  • Senior Housing is restricted to individuals who are age 62 or older (or 55 and older in some cases). DHIC offers 13 senior apartments in two counties.
  • Supportive Housing is for singles who have been homeless in the past, or otherwise need access to more intensive social services. We have two supportive housing communities, both in Wake County.
